Business Overview of the Company and its Subsidiaries
            Kulthorn Kirby Public Company Limited (KKC) is a manufacturer and supplier of hermetic reciprocating motor compressors for application to air conditioners and refrigeration products such as domestic refrigerators, freezers, commercial refrigerators and water coolers.   These compressors are approved for operation with many types of refrigerants including ozone-friendly refrigerants such as R134a, R404A, R407C and R600a.   Our compressors range in size from 1/20 HP to 10 HP.

                The company also produces condensing units, electric motor parts, and other compressor components.

The company has three subsidiaries.

                Kulthorn Kirby Foundry Company Limited is a manufacturer of quality iron castings for motor compressors and automotive parts.   Wholly owned by KKC, the company is located at Saladaeng District, Bang Nam Priao, Chachoengsao.

                Kulthorn Premier Company Limited manufactures hermetic compressors under a technical assistance agreement with Sanyo Electric Japan.   It also makes quality iron castings for use in compressor components and automotive parts.   KKC holds 99.98% of its paid-up shares, and it is located at Nong Kee District, Kabin Buri, Prachin Buri.

                Kulthorn Steel Company Limited is the steel coil centre for our compressor and electric motor manufacturing activities and for other parts.   This wholly owned company is located at Chalong Krung Road, Lam Pla Thio, Khet Lat Krabang, Bangkok.

                The essential business of the company and its subsidiaries is the manufacture of motor compressors and a wide range of other components for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.

            Kulthorn Kirby Public Company Limited aims to be the leading independent manufacturer of quality hermetic compressors and refrigeration systems within ASEAN, and commits to manufacture quality motor compressors with on-time delivery and at competitive prices by advancement of the company’s operation under international management systems such as ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO/IEC 17025 Thai Industrial Standards Institute, and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.   The company’s Research & Development Centre will continue to advance our product designs to achieve improved efficiencies, materials and energy savings, reduced impact on the environment and, ultimately, to satisfy the needs of our customers.
